Justice Comes to Beantown
by David L. Burns
Sci-Fi Space Western - available soon in print and electronic format!

A mild-mannered alien-human hybrid accepts the Justice of Commerce position on a remote planet, hoping to act out some of his Old West fantasies, and ends up facing a real showdown with marauding aliens.

Anoli-human hybrid Passonne Boulongee - one of a kind in the universe - finds out the hard way he's more than just an alien with striking blue skin and flowing white hair. After a clever coworker convinces him to 'live his dream' of the Old West by accepting a four-year offworld assignment as the new Justice of Commerce Officer on a dusty, forgotten remote planet, he realizes Beantown's not the role-playing haven he was led to believe. Its only real industry is the exportation of a plethora of hybrid beans, for which it got its name.

With his role-playing expectations ruined, the last thing the new Justice wants is to step in the middle of a longstanding feud with a race of nasty lizard-like aliens. But that's just what he's going to have to do if he hopes to bring sorely needed justice to the folks of Beantown. Along the way, he finds love with an unexpected ally and learns the surprising truth about his own alien heritage.

Rating: Contains graphic sexual content and violence.

SCIENCE-FICTION ROMANCE

Crystal Clear
Storm Ryder
by Dana Warryck
First installment of a Science-Fiction Romance trilogy - available soon in print and electronic format!

A young widow and her son are caught in a deadly tug of war over alien bio-technology missing from the military, that the original owners want back!

A year after her test-pilot husband Steve's crash at the military's Utah proving grounds, widow Gayle Randall and her young son Stevie are living 1,500 miles away, trying to put their lives back together. But Gayle's lecherous brother-in-law Jack, who recruited Steve for the top-secret project, can't leave well enough alone. An irreplaceable bio-crystal used in the experimental aircraft piloted by his brother Steve went missing after the crash, and Jack is convinced Gayle is the key to its recovery. Driven to make Gayle his, Jack bargains with his four-star general boss to recover the tiny device in exchange for freedom from his family and military obligations.

Gayle wants nothing to do with Jack and his hints about Steve's involvement in the disappearance of the missing device - until he reveals that two oddball former neighbors from Utah have coincidentally resurfaced in Fort Wayne, not far from where she lives. When Gayle questions the men regarding Jack's allegations, she learns the alien technology may be able to transfer memories of her deceased husband into the mind of another person - and Jack wants to be that person! Caught in the middle of the struggle for control of the missing crystal, Gayle realizes just how deadly the situation has become when a humanoid killing machine transports to Earth to retrieve the stolen device - and her son mistakes him for a TV superhero!

Rating: Contains some sexual content and violence.
